They say you should always be listening to your body. That way, you can be proactive before getting sick.
The same thing is valid for listening to your gut feeling when doing something in/for your business.

I'm an absolute advocate of trying and experimenting and doing lots of different things to find the thing that you actually want.
The problem with that is usually your first idea is your pretty much your best idea.
So you go back and refine it and fix it and make it better.
So hearing external feedback, reading blog articles, going into clubhouse, reading stuff on Twitter, reading stuff online, watching videos.
It's all great, but I think you got to be careful of how much external information you take, so it doesn't overpower your gut feeling, your first instinct of doing that one thing.
And we all fall for it.
I've fallen for it.
Is it marketing?
Is it manipulation?
Well, marketing is kind of form of manipulation.
Is it something else?
Is it kind of keeping up with the Joneses as it were?
I find that my gut feeling tells me to do something.
I learn something new, go and do that other thing, realize I messed up, I fucked up, and then reverse it and go back to my original idea and then refine it and make it better and hopefully people like it.
And generally people do like it.
Your gut feeling, your first instinct is always your best.
So whenever you read an article thinking that's a great app or that's a great service I should use, think of your gut feeling and think about how you would use it.
Think about what you need before you just pick that thing off the shelf and start using it.
Having your workflow work for you is better than just having an app because everyone told you to use it.
I've fallen for it many times.
I've fallen for it recently as well.
There are certain things that I'm doing that I'm like, you know, this isn't working for me.
I've got to change it.
Externally it looks like I don't know what I'm doing.
Maybe I don't.
I know what I'm doing when I'm changing things up, but because I'm learning from the mistakes I've made and then my gut feeling tells me go and do the first thing you said.
So think about the tools that you've been told externally that you're going to be using.
Unless it's an expert telling you.
Unless you're working with... anyway, you understand what I mean.
Anyway, have a great day and I'll see you in the next video.
Ciao.
