The more you say 'YES' to things, the less time you have to yourself.
It's not always good to accept new projects, tools or favours you do because that will inevitably suck the time you have for yourself.

When I work with my clients or when I'm talking to friends and colleagues and so on, one thing that constantly comes up is how busy they are and I never quite understand it.
For me, I try to say no to a lot of things. The power of no is really important to me.
The fact that I got to such a stage luckily, then I'm able to say no to a lot of things, no to going out, no to working with clients, no to helping neighbours, no to... I mean, it's not as if I say no all the time, but it's valuing my time and the power of no is basically keeping that value to yourself.
Not because you're selfish, not because I'm selfish, but the more I say yes to something, the less time I have to say yes to the things that I really want to do.
The power of no to me is really important and it comes down to technology as well, using the right social networks, saying no to other social networks, saying no to clients that want my help, etc.
I don't say no lightly, but I do use it strongly because I feel quite strongly about my time and how I should spend my time in helping the right people and also using my time for the things that I want to use, the tools I want to use.
There are so many tools out there that want to try to help you, but you find that they're just the time suck.
And the fact that I can say no to those tools actually enable me to have that time to do something else that I want to do or use another tool that I want to use.
So the power of no is really important and I think the sooner you understand that saying no will actually help you proceed in your business, it's a big thing.
It's actually a really big thing.
I realised this a few years ago, so when I started saying no to projects, because I didn't feel as if I could help them, so it just wasn't right.
The more I started working with clients and projects and coaching the right type of people that are actually really interested in what I do and that kind of opened up a whole new world of the type of work that I do and it's fantastic.
But going back to the tool set, if you're using the wrong tool, you're basically saying yes to that tool and no to your own time.
But if you choose the right tool and say no to every tool that comes in and be quite focused on the actual tool that you need or the workflow that you're that you have to find the specific tool for that workflow, the more yes you say to that, the more time you have for yourself.
Because you're saying no to the things that actually doesn't enrich you or your clients in any way whatsoever.
So the power of no is very, very much on top of my list when I try to do anything, whether it's picking a tool or working with clients.
Anyway, have a great day and I'll see you in the next video.
Ciao.
