It's Friday, and one thing that's been going around in my mind this week has been failing. And how you can learn from our mistakes. Now I've been in business for a very, very, very long time.
I actually this last week, I throw away my cash box that I bought when I was about 14, which actually started off my whole business career. Being a businessman and putting on parties, I needed a cashbox, and I just threw it away. I took a photo of it.
But that failed, and many other things that I've done since have failed, but I'm in a great position where I am, and the mistakes I've made, that basically caused me to fail... we all know this, we kind of learned from it... so a failure, isn't a failure because you have to learn something from those mistakes and failures, the mistakes that you've made for those failures to happen, I guess.
So just because you fail. And trust me, I failed many, many, many times. Being in business for about 30 years and doing so many different things.
I've learned so many different things and where I am now, the space that I'm in now. Has been pretty awesome because I've learned from all those mistakes in the past. And I think it's all to do with simplifying everything, which is what I talk about all the time, but I can't think of it being anything else other than...
Okay, I failed on this. How can I simplify it? Okay, I failed on this. How can I simplify it? How can I make it easier? How can I get rid of the friction, etc?
Anyway, as I said, it's Friday, enjoy your weekend. And if you have any questions, there'll be a link contact thing around here somewhere. Have a great weekend guys.
