You’ll never win the fight that marketers and salespeople are waging. So it would be best if you were more practical when you’re searching for that product or service. Because if you’re not practical, you’re just hoping something will stick.

Marketing and sales, mainly marketing. They kind of deal in hope. And one of the things that they do is deal in hope. Hope that this product or service will help you.

They don't deal with practicality. The thing... the thing is you have to deal with the practicality. So practicality matters way more than hope, because hope is just like a pipe dream.

This thing is going to help me. I think, I hope that this thing is going to help me. Or this service is going to be beneficial. Or this product is going to make my life easier.

What they don't sell. What you've got to understand is that, the practicality part, as I said comes from you. You have to be practical in fighting with yourself.

Because sales and marketing is a subconscious thing. We are all susceptible to it. We always lose effectively.

But once you think logically and practical... practically, and think of the practicality of that product or service, you'll probably find out you don't need it. You just simply don't need it. So you got to think of practicality more so than hope when it comes to dealing with anything in your life. Whenever you buy anything.

Obviously this is a Tech Minimalism channel video, whatever. So when you're thinking about running your business, when you're thinking about running, . Yeah, your business on these particular tools and you look for a tools, don't think hope, I hope that this is going to fix my problem.

Think practicality, as in... let's work out the process as to figure out whether this product is actually going to help me. Because practicality is way better than hope.
